Sad the program was so short. My favorite show back then. Can't even find the reruns .
Great read, I must of watched some re-runs in the '80s, but the Corsair has since been my favorite.

That was a really good article featuring the pilots and Corsairs used for the series. It's a shame that the series was mostly fiction and was a highly inaccurate portrayal of The Black Sheep.

This show first introduced me to the Corsair and I have been in love with it ever since. My favorite aircraft of all time. Would love to see a quality movie about VMF-214 made that pays homage to those Marine aviators in a more realistic way. Mike
