Ardmore produced the only mosquito still flying, a couple of years ago. Now the Auckland aerodrome has released another one. I hope the attached image (from NZ Warbirds Ops Order 135, 8 Sept 2016) illustrates the new one.
This formation is due to do a fly over on Sept 18, to mark Battle of Britain Day. (oops I missed it - too slack about reading my emails)
I think this must be the one FHC bought and was nearing completion last I heard. If so it will be based 30min from my apartment! If not then I guess there will soon be three Mosquitos!
They're like buses: none for ages then... I do hope one or more comes to the UK some day.

I've heard rumour of another mosquito in pieces in a farmer's shed near Nelson, South Island, NZ....
Who knows, perhaps Kermit Weeks will get one flying here in the US too.
