    Baldy,

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but...Stockplane did a P-11 panel, with the following description...

    http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum...id=46&id=19864

"This panel is for the PZL P.11c there are no gauges for Poland planes, so I have redraw as I can some gauges and I have changed their name so the original not will be overwrite.

The bmp are not more accurate, because I am not a great painter, but closed as possible for me to the real cockpit. There is a gunsight view too, and I have put the new gauges also in the VC Cockpit.

    Best regards."

    Stockplane's P.11 panel

that's an excellent panel, far better than I could do - could quite easily adapt it to my case (with his permission of course ) -

    thanks

    Check my thread Baldy...

I did a bmp for that panel... modestly speaking... quite good. The photo in the posting is excellent,
except that the perspective is all wrong... I redid all of that so that it looks like proper frontal view...
Check it out ... if you want to use it... I'll send it to you...
I can also replace the faces of any existing gauge files... they are pretty self explanatory even
if you don't speak Polish... they are the basic altitude, IAS, etc.

    PZL P.11c

We are just about three weeks away from the 77th anniversary of the German invasion of Poland on 1st September 1939 and to mark this event UncleTgt and I ( with the help of others listed in the Readme ) are launching a new multi-lod version of the PZL P.11c. This fighter aircraft was the mainstay of the Polish Air Force's heroic defence of the homeland.

I shall be uploading this a/c very shortly and it should be available soon

    Question Reply...

    Baldy,

    Magnificent! Thank you so much!

Question: Are Captain Kurt's skins compatible with this update?

    PZL P.11c

This is a completely new made for CFS 2 aircraft and looking at Captain Kurt's textures the mapping is not compatible - however since this is Freeware anyone is free to create new skins - ask Uncle nicely

Thank you Baldy, UncleTgt; this is a great plane. I enjoy learning about the lesser know planes from WWII. I cannot imagine the courage the Polish pilots must have needed to engage the Bf-109's while flying this kite.

Thanks for sharing your work with us,

Nice little plane, Baldy. Well done.

Dad had a mate who was ex Polish Airforce - a WO pilot. He said he never even got a chance to fly against the Germans - they lost all their fighters on the ground in the initial attacks - apart from a couple who managed to take off and were promptly shot down! Interesting chap. He and a mate then got hold of a small liason plane and managed to get to France to join their A/F, then a couple of months later, they had to flee to England! Ended up in the RAF flying Hurricanes in the Med., by the sound of it, mainly on ground attack missions. Loved Hurricanes, hated Spitfires - he reckoned the Hurricane was a tougher plane - he was shot down 3 times - the last time in a harbour in Italy, where he ended up sheltering under a sea wall with a German gun emplacement on top of the wall! He managed to sneak away, joined up with an Italian Partisan group and fought with them for several months before re-joining the Allies. Married a British lass and ended up in New Zealand after the war. He's long dead now, but I often wished I'd "pumped" him more about his experiences.

Nice job guys. Its great to have a brand new plane in the hangar.

    Baldy,

My pleasure! I was tipped off a while ago by a mutual friend that these may be afoot. I've been saying for a long time that we needed an overhaul of the Fall Weiss aircraft for the Polish side so I can update the campaign package with proper Polish aircraft, and now this may be coming true!

    Baldy,

Absolutely no pressure. Just having a PZL P-11c and a PZL P-23b are major steps forward. The P-11a and P-7a can probably be modified from the PZL P-11c. That covers most of them!

    P.7a

Took a bit of time off the P 23 to see what work the P.11c needed to make a P.7a - this is what I've come up with --

but I better get back on the P 23

I'm surprised it hasn't come up yet in this thread, but where does one find the PL gauges required by the PZL P.11c's panel.cfg. There were no gauges in my download package. Is everyone using alternative gauges i don't know about?

    Icon12 here you go...

    from the readme
    - note to get the guages to go with this panel it is necessary to download Stockplane's P11c_panel.zip from the SOH add-on library

Thanks Uncle, and you know the weird thing about that readme is i that saw the tips for the sound and weaps, got those, and totally skipped the panel info.
