Icon22 Updating My AC and ran across these!

    Good evening gentlemen!

I have been tidying up my CFS2 install recently- getting my QC file in order, my hangars up to date, etc.. Been going through AC.zip files that at one time or other I downloaded but never installed and I ran across these wonderful Beaufighter birds that had been sitting around in my downloaded AC folder for who knows how long. They are from a group of 4 (that I know of) by a talented bunch of SOH denizens I will simply call William Dickens, et. al. (Pen32Win, Lawdog, Keltichear, ...).

One of the Beaufighters, the DAP Beaufighter Mk.21, has long been my go-to AC for just flying around and shooting up stuff.

Now I have three more to play with: Beaufighter-MKIC-RAAF, Beaufighter-MKVIF-wAI-MKVIII-radar and Beaufighter-TFX-1. As C. Montgomery Burns would say, cracking his fingers in front of him: "Aaahh, yessss. Excellent!"

Anyhow, I am sure many already have these birds but I thought I'd share anyway just in case not.

    Cheers,
    MR

    Chris,

Not only are they beautiful and fun to fly, their AI behavior is also exceptional. Hewman100 worked with the Bismarck13 crew to get the AI behavior right. I loved these planes so much I did an entire campaign for Beaufighters in the Med.

The whole set starts on page 1 and goes onto page 2: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum...d=11017&sort=d

In addition, the beautiful textures Morton did for the Alpha payware Beaufighter will work with these models.

    MR,
If I am not mistaken, I used the RAAF Beau. 21 in Bong-McGuiire Aces campaigns.
    GREAT birds!
