    Thought it might just be a repackaged copy of the openware (aka free) Flightgear but the graphics are pretty amazing.

    Positive it is not...it started as a European simulator only but has expanded it's coverage. Steam would not sell a product that has been falsified anyway.

    I'd look at it again if it shows signs of maturing, but not in its present form, which is as mentioned 'Early Access'.

    The original "Aerofly" which I have seen advertised for years always looked spectacular, with photoreal aircraft and scenery as default.

    The original was limited to Switzerland only. The additional locations and features of the version 2 simulator look pretty good really. I probably won't go for it as I hardly have enough time to use the simulators I already have, but that would be the only reason.

    I find it somewhat amusing that they have combined a 737-800 exterior with the vc from the 737-200C...

    I've seen quite a few flaws...and I don't know if they are going to continue developing. It looks interesting though...
