A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category FSX Military skins - WWII

Description: This is a repaint of the Flight Replicas Piper L-4 in the colors of the US Army's 86th Division (Blackhawks) Artillery Air Section. I finally painted up the plane my father, 1st Lt. Joseph M. Bowers, flew in WWII. He was an liaison pilot (artillery spotter) for the 86th Infantry's Artillery Division. The 86th entered combat in Feb.1945 during the battle for central Germany, crossed the Rhine at Cologne, had advanced to Bavaria and was in Berchtesgaden on May 6. My father was awarded the Air Medal for his wartime missions flying over the retreating German army while artillery spotting. I still have a section of fabric covering from this plane - with two bullet holes.

Repaint textures only. You will need the Flight Replicas 'Piper L-4 Grasshopper AGF' installed to utilize this repaint.
