A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Missions Add-Ons

Description: * This package was updated on 25 October, 2015 to correct empty ship folders that prevent them from working properly.

This package was updated again on April 27th, 2016 to include missing gauges for several aircraft.

Welcome to the "Sink the Tirpitz" mission package! This package consists of nine British missions chronicling their attempts to sink the Kriegsmarine battleship "Tirpitz" during April, July, and August of 1944. There are also two fictional British missions; one is an escort of Lancaster bombers during Operation Catechism, which actually sank the Tirpitz, while the other is semi-historical, depicting the attack which might have taken place with DeHavilland Mosquitoes performing a low-level, high-speed strike on the German ship with "Highball" bombs designed by the same creator of the "bouncing bomb" that breached the Ruhr dams; Sir Barnes Wallace. The other three missions are fictionalized German missions when you raid the British Fleet off the North Cape with level bombers, torpedo bombers, or intercept a departing raid on the Tirpitz as the strike force returns to the fleet.

In this first package, you will find all of the aircraft, weapons, and sound packs required to fly these missions. Those whose work is included in this package include Mike Hambly, the FDGv2 freeware team, UncleTgt, the SOH Donationware, team, the Groundcrew Team, Sopwith Chameleon, RobH, Krystof Malinowski, Morton, Bismarck13, Paul Rebuffat, Martin Wright, Marc Siegel, Team Daedalus, Captain Kurt, PH Burnage, Brunosk. Baldy, Lawdog2360, Kelticheart, Dbolt, and Gryphon Aviation.

All aircraft in Part I of the FAA - Sink the Tirpitz! auto-installer package have been modified, when necessary, to include the appropriate repaints, when possible, for the aircraft. I've also included modified .dp files for each aircraft which correct information in the [MISC.DATA] section that was in error. To lessen issues with frame rates with many waves of aircraft in the sky, all exhaust effects have been removed, if they were included in the original models.

Additionally, all weapons required for the aircraft have been included.
