DC-6 in the wings... and she's a beaut...

I hope you will pardon the link from the original fora... however, I remember reading there was much interest in the forthcoming DC-6... so I wanted to share here as well. This forum has given me many hours of pleasure, and I hope this in some small way begins to repay my debt...

I've been following that development for a long time. Thanks for the h/u.

Unfortunately the prices that PMDG charge are enough to encourage me to stick with the JF DC-6.

    Cheers

XPL at the moment, however, there are plans to move it into FSX/P3d.

Thank you . I feel that old excitement coming back . Something I am really looking forward to for fsx/p3d . Looking excellent indeed.

It is one off those must haves, always one that comes along that has the new deal and that little special added

The project looks promising but if I heard correctly (please someone correct me if I'm wrong about it) but the complexity of this model lends itself more towards a 64bit program like X-Plane 10 rather than FSX/P3D? To be honest, I hope PMDG and other developers will move quickly on getting their current and planned products into DTFS's 64bit capabilities rather than introduce complex products (such as this one) into aged/limited platforms. IMHO, such a move would help render a overall better experience for most users.
