Hi, gaucho. How goes the la-5 pit you were doing and is it ready for cfs 2. I think I provided the link to the planes at simviation in this thread. Hope ya cna release or adapt them to cfs 2. think it was post 1024.
I have those models from simviation... Run into a problem with the textures I made... they look fine... but
in the sim (fS204) the wings look fine and the fuse is blurred... I think it has to do with the conversion
of the files with the DXT program... need some expert to tell me what kind of compressed file type to use...
the fit fine, etc.
Right now I am getting ready to move.... so with packing, etc. haven't tried anything yet.

Looking very nice there C....
One small problem, the Ar196 wasn't a bi-plane/parasole winged beastie...do you mean the Ar95 or?
Cheers

Do you use the latest version of mdlc for cfs 2? Might have options to fix that.

Huub, Shessi, UncleGt, or anyone: what causes my FS9 repaint to be like this:
wings perfectly sharp and yet the fuselage comes out blurred?
Any counsel welcome...
G.
There are two things which pop-up. One is easy to solve. Do you save your textures including mipmaps? Try whether the fuselage textures improve when you save the textures without them. The other option is that the texture is not correctly placed on the model. This is error in the model file and can't be solved.
Cheers,
Huub
The saving without them is done with the Dxtbmp program?
Like is there a choice.... or a particular file format to be chosen?
G.
Hi G,
Yes to the DXTbmp prog. And yes there is. On the main screen (DXTbmp.exe prog), on the RHS there are two small boxes, one of which allows you to save with or without mip maps. Uncheck it to save without and there yer go!
Cheers
Shessi
I cannot see the pictures, can you describe what you are doing please?
