OT in terms of the Archive's link, but regarding the Cubans:
The top Cuban cigar makers and tobacco growers are no longer in Cuba. They have defected/escaped to the Dominican Republic, San Salvador, Costa Rica, Honduras. The top rated hand rolled cigars are now coming out of those countries....made by those who made them in Cuba using the tobaccos that were lovingly hybridized by the best tobacco masters that Cuba produced.
Cuban cigars aren't worth the boxes they come in any more.
