Just when it seemed the Luftwaffe may have achieved their aim in destroying 11 Group's airfields in South East England, Hitler, furious with RAF; pretty pathetic; bombing of Berlin, ordered the main focus to be switched to The British capital, London. This was in effect the one and only Luftwaffe '1000' aircraft raid; and fighters outnumbered bombers 2:1! While the RAF did not do that well, the good news was the Group 11 airfields were spared.
I don't think I actually have 1000 LW aircraft in these missions as I don't have all the information on units involved; for instance I have no evidence of II. Fliegerkorps action plans for that day; only I. Fliegerkorps, and I am not sure how complete that is. I more or less guessed II. Fliegerkorps activity and units from snippets here and there.

These are from a test of a new set of BoB missions for that day.
