Sorry,I expected same struggle as I had with cfs2 and win10, but put the cd in, doubblecliced exe. and voila everything operated as before in win7.
killer svend
that's good news, Svend.
did you use hubba's patch,
or does your joystick work without it?
sometimes the magic works.
sometimes it doesn't.
It was an old installation stored on an external HD I used and in this I used Hubba's patch, thanks to him,it is possible to use the stick.
Killer Svend
thanks for clarifying, Svend.
in my opinion, hubba's patch is the best addon
ever created for cfs1....bar none.
without it, cfs1 would be dead and buried.
i surely miss that "Guy" and hope he is well.

I'm very glad to see that my "patch" is still appreciated. I do peek on different sites where it was uploaded and the numbers keep getting up.
So some must still be playing it, which was the intended purpose .
Due to circumstances I had to curtail my involvement in CFS1 community, but I'm still lurking around and watching.
Keep'em flying...
Torture numbers and they'll say anything.
Hubbabubba, Touche à tout.
hello Guy, so good to see your post.
i hope you are well.
would you believe there has been 14,000+ views
of the w7 patch thread over at the aac forum?

Hello folks, and hello Hubbabubba!
I was thinking about the possibility of being able to revive an old serial-port FFB joystick, by putting a serial-port card into a free slot in the tower.
I wonder if anyone has experimented the Windows 7 Patch using joysticks that only have only Win98 drivers.
The question is whether this is within the scope of the Patch, or if, more logically, the Patch is intended to cater for USB joysticks on operating systems newer than WinXP.
Thanks for your patience!
Cheers,
Aleatorylamp
