sweet been waiting for this!
yes i know i cant spell half the time! Thank you kindly to those few who pointed that out
Ah, a true Put Put for FSX! Love the sound of the Popjoy engine! I have been following this project with some fascination because Paul designed it en total with 3 D Canvas Pro. He even wrote his own export module to get it into FSX. I think he is the only one using this program for FS. (But might not be the last). 3 D Canvas Pro is used extensively by the MS Train Sim designers where Paul is highly respected. Hope this is not his last FS project.
Cheers, Paul
Really great choice of aircraft, love those old crates!!!
Alex
Dont grow up! ... It´s a trap!
Monocoque II perhaps?

This looks cool
I saw the header and I thought it was the deHavilland jet
Looks nice though.

Yet another lovely freeware model that captures not only the look of the thing but also the spirit and character of the inter-war years. Bar my schoolboy obsession with all things WWII and big-propped, this is my favourite period in aviation history. The Swallow is just perfect for a sunny summer evening's jaunt around Old Warden, or anywhere else really.
I was amused by the name of the engine - the Pobjoy Cataract - until I remembered that 'Cataract' could also mean a waterfall.
Thank you Paul

Go on Paul give them a hint
It will be another corker for F s9 and FSX . And PutPut ---- it will suit you to a tee
Leif
by the way for those who dont get to the FS9 forum much
DaveMoly has just released his Auster Alpine for Fs9 at ww.classicbritishfiles.com
OK, a little hint... Here's the start of the engine model. A US design, licence built in the UK.
If you still have FS9 loaded, I'd recommend downloading all of the Austers at classicbritishfiles.
That looks suspiciously like the start of an Aeronca E-113 engine which was licensed to JAP in the UK. Are we doing the Aeronca C-3?
Cheers, Paul
A Taylorcraft Plus C??
Some of you may be experiencing problems selecting anything but the first livery.
I think I may have found the culprit...
In aircraft.cfg, use notepad to remove any text following:
atc_id_color=
In the first 5 liveries.
Let me know if it fixes it for you and I'll let other sites know.

Anyone know where you can download the Swallow now?

I searched his name on Google and came up with
https://decapod99.wordpress.com/
https://decapod99.wordpress.com/cate...elling/planes/
Then follow the headline for the Sparrow

Corsair 850W PSU
MSI RX580 Radeon Armor 8Gb

I think it would be a good idea to edit the first post and make a link that works to the download of this beautifull bird.
I have tried several links and surfed around for a while now and havent found a swallow.
I will patiently wait.
It is here
https://decapod99.wordpress.com/2010...t-of-the-door/
scroll down to the comments section there is a link to a onedrive file in fact this might work
https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resi...9820717E%21406
if not that is the line to look for in the comments.
Just tried the above and it works - it takes you to a page of various files. Swallow is there along with an updated cfg file.
