Looks like it's down, but maybe temporarily? (Google Translate is not the best, but looks like a std message)
Given it's been some time since the last update, maybe we should expect the worst.
I can't even get Google to translate it for me, I am getting an "invalid website" message instead of the translation into English....
It sure doesn't look good at all.

Does anyone have his contact info?

At this time... Usio's site is still down. I pray not for good! I use many of his ships (modified with Pen32Win's alternate dps) in my upcoming campaigns. I may have to substitute with Maxstuka's and Stuart's new Japanese craft, if they have the right classes.
Usio's site not only gave us great ships, but also listed the names of the other ships in a particular class for all the light cruisers and up. I know there is a new seaplane tender - Chitose by Stuart - uploaded here that would fit in nicely, but like the other new IJN ships, I know next to nothing about their AA or armour defenses. I like the "toughness" of Usio's ships with Pen32Win dps' AA and hope I won't have to make all the substitutions to the missions and READMEs.

I accessed it about this time last month (Early March) and it was functional then. No luck today. I do hope we haven't lost another great one.

Good afternoon,
If contact with Usio cannot be made and this proves permanent, I will create a category here as I did for Akemi so that the ships are not lost. Yet more work for the fearless librarian...

I also have a pretty thorough downloaded stash from his site I'd be willing to share.

I think I have all of his library on my external HD.

Thats a darn shame. I have most of their Ships. I do not mind sharing them.
I think I have all of them also, so count me in on the great library save.

It looks like it’s offline for good!
But I’ve saved all the ships also!
I have just a question about his indeed very detailed ship’s (I like this kind of work) is it possible to disable the moving guns? I made a test flight with my Avenger last week and set up a simple mission to sink the Yamato, -and to see the big guns moving very fast from port to starboard and up and down is very strange.

Dear friends,
MR and Voyager found a mistake in one of the CFS2 piers I uploaded ten years ago. I have fixed it and was about to upload the updated package when I noticed an issue: one of the requirements are Usio's lighthouse effects (JMK_Light_House_Effects.zip), and Usio's site (http://usio.web.infoseek.co.jp) is no longer accessible!
I wonder if someone has Usio's email or can help in get in touch with him to request permission to include this effect in my package (properly crediting him, of course). According to the conditions of use contained in the readme files of his ships this would be fair, but I would feel better if I have his explicit consent.
Best regards,
Xavier

Thanks Allen, have we finally uploaded his stuff here as mentioned in one of the posts? Otherwise I will take the risk to include Ushio's effect in my package properly crediting him and hope no bad feelings ever arise.
we are ready too. no action has been taken Yet...
