One step closer to launch... Today Beta V2 was sent out...

New is the Volvo Ocean Race...

    Cardiff

    Itajai, Brazil

    Auckland, New Zealand

Not so new... and then again... a replica of the French frigate Hermione from 1779 and rebuilt in 2014. The model was provided by Pascal Dumat.

Thanks… I have to say I limited myself to let the boats visit the ports from the race; and I let "Vestas" come first at least once and I didn't crash it against an atoll in the Indian Ocean like it happend in the race... (Need to mention that I have a few friends who used to work at Vestas, so better be polite…)

Perhaps it is time to add some ships... just if you like the idea.
I´m just finishing a Navantia´s shipbuilder collection of ships.
It includes three Royal Australian Navy ships: the Hobart destroyer, the LHD Canberra and the AOR Supply

Waow.... are they ready to go? Would be fantastic to have them in... The Australian navy is completely missing in the project...!

  6. #406
I have to check the effects and package them.

She is here... on my computer and on those of the beta-testers... Unfortunately we couldn't launch last week due to various problems - small ones, but still things which need time to correct...

Unfortunately I am again travelling with no chance of uploading, but the contributions from Gary and Alberto have been added so the Australian, the Spanish and the British navies are now very well represented…

HMAS Hobart (Alberto Garcia), HMAS Perth and HMAS Adelaide (Alberto Garcia) on exercise near Darwin

    HMAS Perth

    HMAS Armidale near Coff's Harbor

Gary Payne's UK version of my Brazilian Type 21 frigates together with Gary's HMS Illustrious

HMS Cornwall - she has been in the project for a long time but without activation - now with the Type 21 and the Illustrious it was time for a nostalgic addition...

Too busy in real life at the moment... it is tough to return from vacations... If nobody disturbs me over the weekend and it rains...

A new countdown has started - I am at home in Denmark - files are ready and Friday it will be released.

Over the summer I did get inspired to do some smaller models - mostly fishing boats - but also some Navy ships... All in all close to 1100 ships will be included in the release.

You are welcome, there will soon be more to play with - and to the fans of the Royal Navy... HMS Vanguard

and then a Type 21 from Pakistan... The model was originally done by me as the Brazilian version of the Type 21 - the Niteroi Class, then adjusted by Gary to the British version, and then now readjusted by me to correspond to the Pakistan Tariq class...

The new complete package with around 1100 ships has just been uploaded to simviation.com, flightsim.com, avsim.com and flightsimnorway.com - it will probably still take some hours or a day before it starts becoming available on the different sites.

Thanks to all who have contributed

Do you have to remove the previous version to install?

  22. #422

    Thanks!

Thankyou Henrik, and all other contributors, for making this already great package even better. I love to go ship sightseeing in the sim/.

    Cheers,
"Try to stay in the middle of the air. Do not go near the edges of it. The edges of the air can be recognized by the appearance of ground, buildings, sea, trees and interstellar space. It is much more difficult to fly there".

It depends if you have installed all previously fixes - there is one folder from the very first package from 2013 - "AI_Hyundai_Container", which I will recommend to remove - the rest is not necessary - you can just overwrite.

  24. #424
Thanks removed the ship you mentioned and overwrote the existing files. I can't imagine FSX without your ai ship packages.

    Up at flightsimnorway.com. -

    https://www.flightsimnorway.com/addo...&pack=aishipsn

    Very fast download speed!

Many thanks Henrik, looking forward to discovering all the new additions - especially the little scenarios you have created.

    Gary.
