Thanks - after having worked on navy ships for a while it was time to add some of the ships which feeds us... I went to Santos recently and the line of Panamax bulk carriers waiting to load soy and grains was impressive...

    Wow, Henrik!

Love the landing craft type ferry! So typical of Greek waters! Thanks!

On note however. To my knowledge, logs are always carried in the longitudinal direction on the deck. The stanchions on the side keep them from slipping to the sea:

Ups... this is what happens when I guy who never had to load a ship or take the consequence if it was poorly loaded tries to model a ship................. I will do a bit of remodeling so nothing is lost in the virtual sea...

LOL! Stay away from insurance claims! they are a pain!

Actually, the timber on deck, when packed and stowed correctly can be taken into account as additional buoyancy by regulation, and the ship can load even deeper than its normal loadline.

The Royal Navy leaving Plymouth... First up Gary's HMS Ark Royal in 2010 version, next a type 22 frigate, a type 23, two type 45's and finally HMS Ocean.

Nearby sailboats are returning from Fastnet Race...

    Great as always Henrik!

Out of all I love the Fastnet boats the best. I have a friend and ex colleague who is one of the top sailors in those races. He has also done the Atlantic crossing race alone and I believe came second. Quit the job to do just that. Deep down I think I envy him.

I worked with sponsoring for one of the single handed around the world races some years back - I must say I didn't envy the sailors when they headed straight into a hurricane of Galicia...

    Excited about this next round.

Are the RN carriers adapted at all or just as Gary made them? I had issues with night lighting showing properly. But they’re lovely carriers and welcome them in any event.

    Thx!

  19. #394
I know Gary adapted them - however I don't know if before or after you have tried them. The beta should be out maybe in 24 hours and then time to check across versions.

If it’s been lifted from the warbirds library it’ll be as is. Henrik if you’ve not modded it at all but plan to use Ark in any upcoming package let me know and I can give you a revised version (there are some fixes needing done) can also provide a Lusty too.

    Cheers
    Gaz

I think this is the one you sent me together with the Iveston - I a have a couple of versions so I am not one hundred percent sure which is the right one - this one has a mdl file dated 21-01-2017.

A couple of other Royal Navy shoots...

Ivestons not mine so you may have got that from one of the guys at cbfsim. Yeah that one from 2017 still has the hull anomalies and some textures issues. I’ll finish some of the amendments and give you revised versions of Ark, Lusty and possibly Invincible....I’ll look at the hull colouring too and see if I can get them to match yours.

    Cheers
    Gaz

Sounds great - and yes, I just checked back in my messages and I got the Iveston from cbfsim through DaveB

And another one from the test...
