Reporter: " Tell me, now that you've burned the candle for 3 days and flown thousands of miles, where do you want to go?"

Pilot (with expression of one dealing with a very young child): "SLEEP!!!!"

    g'night all!

Well done to all, both for finishing and for keeping going when it was clearly a struggle.

Can someone post the times please ? The official site doesn't want to play nice.

NVM, found it in the bonus bank section.

Times on the official site are unofficial times until the committee can review any outstanding items and release a NOTAM with the final results.

But unofficial numbers right now are:

    AVSIM : 54:42
    SIM-OUTHOUSE : 57:55
    FLIGHTSIM : NOT FINISHED

Great job Sim-Outhouse, you gave us a good fight with far less resources.

A little late in sending you all congratulations, but I finally got my posting permissions sorted out!

Well done! Mr. Murphy seemed to visit us early and often this time out, a little more often than we at Team FlightSim (or any other team for that matter) would have liked. We WILL finish the Race, so be sure to leave a few in the cooler for us. We'll be along shortly (or longly). After we're all landed safely at MRLB I know what I'M gunna do! 'Till then,

    Ponch,

Thank you for posting. And, thank you for hanging in there to run out the race. We were almost in your shoes both nights when we were down to one person still awake and flew back-to-back legs with penalties as no one else was available. We understood your predicament and felt your pain too. Hopefully, more members will show next year to help carry the baton; that beast gets very heavy in the wee hours with no one around. :-)

For those who missed it in the midst of post-race debates and rehabilitation...

    The Race is over!
