    Exclamation 2016 Race Administration Volunteers

A quick reminder about selecting Racing Committee Members. Wednesday deadline.

As the Race begins early on Saturday (or late Friday for North Americans), we have little time remaining. So it would be best if teams might select their members and inform the Committee by (Wednesday). That would give the Racing Committee only one day organize themselves and set their schedules.

Names can be sent to Rob, Ed, or Eamonn via PM in the respective forums (Mike has limited time to collect info this week)

And, given the short time involved, it might be helpful if each team might select at least one member who has previously served on the Racing Committee. (We appreciate the value in spreading the "honor" around the team, but this year we probably need some experienced members to get the Committee organized very quickly.)

More information about the Racing Committee is in the Administration document here:

I'm happy to volunteer and have done the role before, BUT, I'm only available (for the race and any duties) until Sunday at 1200 UTC. The race will probably last around 60 hours, which would be Monday at 1200, so I'll miss the last 24 hours.

It's Wednesday... anyone else putting their hand up?

Remember, this whole event is a cooperative effort and it's not just about flying airplanes folks.

    Thank you Martin & Paul!
Watch the Race forum for possible notice of a RC group meeting.
