Yep, the fix didn't work for me either. I wonder if it may also be something to do with your GFX card type and/or its settings? However, it obviously works for Bill so it can work in some instances.

Bumping this up to make current as I too have flickering needles after applying the patch. (yes, a hail Mary play)

I haven't seen the flickering needles on my system and I can't really test it now, because I'm all in, in P3Dv4. I also haven't seen the flap issue Cees suffered from. Ed could probably fix all of those problems, but he is even busier in RL than he was before.
