Your welcome Anneke and Rick . This deffinetly helped me in my quest to use this tool. Today i took off from kpdx and and then set visibility to zero. Then went into slew mode (y key)and turned the aircraft in every direction, forward backward getting myself all messed up and lost. Entered the vor radio and found my general location from the vor within seconds. I also enjoyed a little cross wind playing with me when tracking the radio so had to correct for that. Fun exercise indeed, will keep practicing different scenarios applying this technique.
