Low Level, High Speed Fighter Runs...

Anyone here remember a Thread sometime last year that had to do with a high speed, low level Flight with Fighters down a River valley, somewhere in the NW US or SW Canada? We talked about it and posted some Screenies after making our individual Runs...

Just wondering if there's any interest in giving it another go, all in the name of Fun and Bragging Rights?

I cannot remember the Route, but I do remember the 400' hard deck and 300 kt Minimum Speed restriction... that's about it.

    Anyone interested?

    Thanks!

    Alan

Actually, this was a different (but related) Thread. However, I was able to find the Original one by reading through the Link you provided...

    Many thanks!

I must also thank padburgess for the original idea, and all of the hard work he and others put into the effort.

As I said in the FS9 forum, the only question in my mind is P-80 or Ford? or both?

    Willy,

padburgess' Original Route was from Abbortsford to Prince George, via the Fraser River Valley/Gorge. Down in the River valley, no more than 600' AGL, minimum 350kts.

VR-1355 was the 2nd area that was selected, same rules apply. Well, sort of...

Basically, any airplane can be used whether it be big or small. But, something fast. Post a couple Screenies and some Comments about the Route and your airplane. No Duenna necessary; it's all for fun, and for the variety of choices. The 1st time around, everything from an A-10 to a P-3 were tried.

    Alan
