The Late version of ZF244 is now also uploaded...

ZF 244 - Late Version with yellow flashes. Actual aircraft is not an Embraer Super Tucano 314, but a Shorts Tucano T1, 72 Sqdn. Royal Air Force Tucano Display Team 2014, RAF Linton-on-Ouse - Painted in honour of the fallen from World War One. Pilot:- Flt. Lt. Dave Kirby.

    ....and this one...

ZF 264 - Actual aircraft is not an Embraer Super Tucano 314, but a Shorts Tucano T1, No.1 Flying Training School 2014, RAF Linton-on-Ouse.

    Glad you're liking them...
295 is mostly done...just no real idea yet what's under the wings [apart from air]...

    Edit...
Looks like the bottom is essentially blank....but the airbrake has a Union Jack .

And as for lots of paints....this one aircraft looks like it has at least 4 versions alone...

Thanks for these Jafo, you've done a great job.
And thanks to Tim for the original model.

To be honest, I didn't have the model installed until you started to release your paints. I always considered it a bit too modern for me.......

Now I have a whole fleet of them, mainly in RAF colours and I really love them

    Thanks,
    Huub

Same here Huub. The Super Tincan has never done much for me but with Jafo's rash of RAF paints (albeit fictitious for the type).. I'm beginning to buckle The Gaffer at UKMIL is throwing one together too so its all good

Yes...I have the 'beta' ....and it's good, though the reason I am doing/can do all these paints for Tim's is I reworked [and thus got my head around] the paintkit so it's a bit like....dial it in and spit it out...

I particularly like Tim's paint 'templates' where essentially the whole aircraft is on the one image...means you can more easily keep track of what you're doing.

Hopefully a kit for the UKMIL 312-T1 will be comparatively user-friendly too...

Jafo, if you are going to move away from fictitious RAF Tucanos would you consider painting this model as a PZL-130 Orlik from the Polish Air Force?

The ones they use for there display team, I know its a completely different aircraft but I think it would look great.

Jason...it's not all that different....still a 2 seat turboprop 'trainer'....and not impossible to do...

I look forward to some WIP shots soon then hehe

I'm glad I didn't start my own paintkit for this model (99% I do my own paintkits btw) but you have done such a awesome job of all these Jafo, I fully salute you!

Huub ....for some strange reason I thought I was avoiding 312 paints.....and now I'm in a rut.
    Ages ago I thought...."nope, not that one...it's a 312 not a 314..." ...

  17. #242
I think this one's done....not sure if there was anything special re the wings...so they're just black....

Jafo, this aircraft, ZF210 I believe has markings above/below wings.

I've found these off the net if any good.

Yes...looks like 210 is quite different.
I found some more pics of 200 ...looks like all it has is the '200' on the wings like on other T1s in the RAF....and a reg number under the tail wings.... which I'll add...

    http://igor113.com/2012/02/21/%D0%BE...D%D0%BA%D0%B8/

Ick ....horrible link...but if it works there's the 200.

Edit....the serial is a Civil reg... N822RS ...Worldwide Warbirds.
It also lacks the 'ZF' and the Ejector signs ...

  20. #245
I guess I need to do the 210 now....

Maybe work on it after the Orlik.

Nah...it's a case of having the 'bits' already from the others...so while I'm doing the 200 I just have to add '10' ...

Here it is about half done....just adjustments and the flashes on the wings...

    A-29 to Afghanistan

Jafo, you started a very good thread along with giving us some great Tucano paints. Here is a story about the A-29s going into Afghanistan - http://www.military.com/daily-news/2...stan-2016.html .

Almost done....tiny bit more to do...not the ugliest of paints...

    Edit....Finished.

Celebrating 90 Years of RAF ...Flt Lt Stew Campbell 72 Sqdn....and definitely quite different to the 200.
