Pretty happy with the rework...all the way to the bumps...the templates are now 'tighter' with less 'overspray'.

Dragged another of my paints for the Super Tucano across to the PC-7 .... at least it saves redoing the text details etc...

    Here 'tis finished.

Am well and truly lost in the wilds of a paintkit for the Yak 130 ....has kept me sleepless [but out of the pubs...]

Took a break to upload more of the PC-7s....
    This one is just uploaded.
Tim included a version in his release... but this is a full redraw ... and of a different cn....

Pilatus PC-7 cn:560 N902AK [ex T420] State Of Alaska, 2008:- A High Definition repaint for Tim Piglet Conrad's model of the Pilatus PC-7 for FSX, in 4096 detail resolution. Textures only, requires Piglet's FSX native model - http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum...tid=34&id=2261 ......by Paul [JAFO] Martin.

    .....and this one is up.
The Roulettes use PC-9s ....but here's the 7 equivalent.

Pilatus PC-7 RAAF Roulettes No.39 RAAF Sale. [Actual aircraft is a PC-9]:- A High Definition repaint for Tim Piglet Conrad's model of the Pilatus PC-7 for FSX, in 4096 detail resolution. Textures only, requires Piglet's FSX native model - http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum...tid=34&id=2261 ......by Paul [JAFO] Martin.

This is the WIP of the Yak 130 that's taken several days so far...
That tiny image to the left is the original 1024 from which I started...shown at the same scale as the new.
In 4096 I'm mostly done with the paint 'cuts'....in spite of them NOT being plumb to the image [or even parallel] ... they're accurate to about 2 pixels at worst so aligning/joining details, lines etc can be done without so much 'pain'.
Having issues like 'holes' in the images doesn't help, so it's a slow process. Am yet to get to the 'underside' green bit, but the rest is 95% done...

This made me sad, because the second I saw this plane, my immediate response is that Tim would have moved it to the top of his design list. Truly peculiar.

Jafo, I was wondering if you would paint any more of the Tucano's by any chance please?

That's always a possibility....still have all the kit workings.....
Thing is, since the Tucano I've wandered off again into other planes.....[and a wee bit of 'real life'] ...
