excellent shots, and outstanding formation flying too!
You can find most of my repaints for FSX/P3D in the library here on the outhouse.
For MFS paints go to flightsim.to

You have a knack for taking some great screenies.

    Great shots!

Thanks, guys! Doing things like this, with formation flights/taking screenshots of multiple aircraft in one shot, helps keep my interest going in flight sim - doing something different than just a normal flight. For this set, I was inspired by the barnstorming/flying circus scene in the Jimmy Stewart movie, "Spirit of St. Louis". As the line in the movie goes, "We didn't always travel alone either. Meet another gypsy in the sky...give him a wave...invite him to dinner".

These types of planes in particular (essentially kites) are quite fun to do formation flying with - 'precision' not necessarily being the name of the game. Here are a couple more shots from some other formation flights I've done with similar vintage in the past:

    Hey John,

Great shots, who's jenny is that? and which scenery? Please.

    Thanks, Doc

    Hey Doc,

The Jenny is the FS9/FS2004 model (so you need to have a copy of that sim, in order to have the base files for the aircraft), with the FSX-native converted model file for it, available here: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum...tiss_Jenny-zip

As it is an FSX-native model with the converted file installed, the aircraft does have self-shadowing, but I have it turned off in these shots since self-shadowing doesn't show-up on AI aircraft, and thus would only be seen on the main/user aircraft in the shots.

As for the scenery, it is the ORBX Pacific Northwest payware scenery, and the freeware ORBX West Wind scenery - perfect for low and slow flying, and not requiring much runway. When flown properly, one can land the Jenny at about 35 kts, allowing you to make a three-pointer, and by having the tail skid digging into the ground from the moment you touch down, the aircraft gets slowed to a stop quite fast. I love flying aircraft like this, as you're never really paying attention to speeds/speedometer, but rather simply the feel of the aircraft (whether it wants to climb or sink), and how loud the wind noise is, to judge if you're going fast enough or slow enough. ; )
