What is the best most stable nvidia driver suitable for P3D

Since replacing my graphics card (NVidia GTX 285) last week to a GTX 970 my PC repeatedly seems to crash both in P3D V3 and FSX but not in windows 7 - it doesn't blue screen in the usual way, just P3D or FSX locks up and never comes back - I have to switch the whole PC off! The Nvidia driver I'm using is 10.18.13.5850, and 358.50 which I believe is up-to-date. I have of course removed the old GeForce driver from my system.

When I use Bluescreen view, it says the bsod is caused by dxgkrnl.sys caused by address dxgkrnl.sys+5d134 which looks to be something to do with DirectX Graphics Kernel...

I'm running Windows 7 64 bit, with 12Gb RAM and 1Tb drive if it makes any difference...

Using 353.82 drivers and quite stable with P3D 2.5, and asus 970. Learned when trying to install 355.98 that incompatibility problems may arise with Kaspersky Int Security 16. This 353.82 is working good so I'll keep it..

I'll check it tonight. I'm also on win7/64 with the Gainward Phantom GTX970. I think I have the latest Nvidia driver set. Didn't encounter an bsods yet.

I did find that if I left the card on Auto for fan speed, it tends to lock up after 10 minutes of flying. I've now set a custom programme for fan speed and it seems better with the fans spooling up as the chip gets hotter. I'm hoping that once I've got to the right level that the freezing up will stop!

Will try the older drivers to see if that makes a difference.

My Phantom card is totally untouched and runs in default mode - meaning no special settings. I have a well vented case though, with air blowing in from the bottom through a filter and from the front. I guess that mitigates any thermal problems.
