    Vietnam for CFS2 Beta Release

It seems to me I have a number of photos of a couple of Laotian T-28's, y'know the ones flown by blonde, blue-eyed Laotians. Not too many of them, not terribly sharp, but if someone is thinking about some skins along those lines, I will try and dig them out of the backup hard drive. These date back to a 1/72 Heller T-28 plastic kit build in '02-'03. Just B&W, no color, sorry.

Wayland, the effort would be mach appreciated..........Including real deal pics kinda helps with the history part of the project...Well, I think so anyway.

I included a map of locations in Cambodia in the T-28 download that shows the 133,000 bombed locations (flown by blonde, blue-eyed Laotians) That never officially happened.

Roger that. I'll also cruise the web since it's been years, there has to be a lot more pics floating around then there was 12 years ago. I remember some from "The Ravens" book, and several different articles on Air America. I need something to dosince the laptop is too clunky for flying, and the gaming desktop isn't out of the shop yet.

    Hi Dave,

I thank you for your offer, but my aviation history knowledge is more oriented towards WWII. There are quite a few Vietnam Vets, SOH members, still around that can add wonderful things to this project through their "hands-on" historical memories.

As a matter of fact I am learning more about Vietnam details, more or less purposely left out by "official" records, through this project that I ever dreamed before. Subjects like secret ops bases and such that I ignored entirely.

All I can offer is only a few prop discs, very few at that, because Vietnam involved more modern jets than prop-driven aircraft.

What I love most is that this project is helping big time the survival of our cherished CFS2!!

Updates and a question for Allen

    Update:
Working on extending the Tonle Srepok River from LZ Cimmaron thru Cambodia and
now have it into Vietnam, better than half way to the Gulf. Known as a smugglers
paradise, it should be great for mission writers.

    Question for Allen,

I am learning your destroyable objects program, Have you figured out a way to import
from MCX to FSDS rather than Gmax? I am not great with Gmax.

Have not heard from John, my snail mail must have been the wrong address
and no answer to emails........too bad

Anyone have the time to convert an Alpha Sim B52 from FS9 for the Vietnam project ?

Look for more updates to the project soon.

No idea. Never had the full FSDS. I used the Demo for making my set up. I think Shessi knows more about going from MCX to FSDS.
