I have packages assembled and being tested for FS9, FSX, and P3D V4.

The FSX and P3D v4 packages are native FSXA and include only the "C" model.

Sounds for the R-2600 are being developed but the packages for now are using the R-2800 sounds out of the Harpoon.

I need a P3D v4 user who can test that package. Will try to find one or more over in the FSX/P3D forums.

Douglas A20 Havoc concerning 2D panel

    Hallo Milton,

at first the problem with the Scott Thomas gauges for me is the do not have a "housing"
I prefer to have gauges which are not only the round circle background with the the numbers on it
I like tem "complete" It is a lot easier for me to work with.
But let us see when in three weeks I will see the final release what I can do to get the best compromiss between the different original panels and your VC.

the onliest gaffer under german flagg at brittanies coast.
in fact it was one of the last Mk I's and she has already the MK II hull but till the littler MK I rigg
    she was launched in 1985.

So the panel work will be a little be in holydays too.
This project is so interesting that after the holy days I will see what I can do concerning the gauges

Sweet! But shouldn't the vertical rudder stripe be insignia blue? Same for the 1941 skin.

It was supposed to be blue as part of the American national aircraft insignia. Absent color photos, I don't know about those specific planes, but it seems unlikely that the Douglas paint shop would make such a major error twice, after many years of cranking out planes for the Air Corps with the markings in the correct colors.

I have uploaded the FS9 ONLY version, full package; the FSX and P3D v4 versions will follow.

These are "Pre-Beta" packages; they have issues. If you want an error-free package, do not download this file.

The 2D panel and sounds are temporary.

Read the docs for operational hints.

You may report any issues here in this thread; there are several known ones yet to be corrected and yours may not be known. :-)

Steve, with regard to your prototype and 1941 USAAC repaints, thank you very much for making them and adjusting them with the proper blue stripe on the rudder. Just one more correction, if you could...

The number of red/white stripes on the rudders of these aircraft (all USAAC aircraft painted so) was always 13 - 7 red stripes and 6 white stripes, matching that of the American flag.

That's what happens when you get a MiGaholic painting USAAF schemes.

    Another Pacific veteran....

Not yet done, but just to tease you

I don't know why this aircraft was called "Ridin High"as I always thought the A-20s in the Pacific were used for low level strafing missions, while the European based A-20s were used for mi-level tactical bombing......

    Cheers,

Well, all I have at the moment is very WIP, but it shows where I am going. 84th Bomb Sqn, 47th Bomb Grp, North Africa, 1943. Actually the real machine was a "B" model so a bit of artistic license is required - they were very close in appearance. :-)

I will make it for all three sim versions as the others that have been done have already been made for use with the FSX native/P3D versions.
