Thank YOU, Sir - you're quite right of course; time to start a specific thread for the Tutor and unclogg the scenery posts.
Tutor is daily heading closer to open hangar doors - the scenery and Milton's gorgeous skiff will be next in line.
Working on the Avro Tutor has been a steep but awesome learning experience.
I believe this will be beneficial to the final Bounty scenery package - I am now able to consider including various animated objects and items beyond my former modeling capabilities.

Thanks for the update info.
Much happiness. :-)
Any progress news Nigel?
Cheers Chris
Ooooh thankyou for your continued interest, Chris
Heavylifting in finishing the AVRO Project behind closed hangar doors, here. Closed, simply to avoid losing concentration. LOL.
VC is nearly finished, AVRO 621 Trainer (uncowled early 5 cyl Armstrong Mongoose as well as late 7 cyl Lynx and AVRO 621 Tutor almost in the BOX.
This leaves me with 621 float version, Polish 9 cyl licence-built PWS-18 and hopefully AVRO 626 Prefect IF I can squeeze out the neccessary polys for the rear, lewis gun position.
On completion; Bounty scenery and Milton's gorgeous skiff are in teh Works.
Warm Greetings to ALL Nigel

Hi Nigel.
Thank you for the update.Great news.
Cheers Chris.
For your info the Bounty,s boat modeled by Milton is the ships launch. The largest boat she carried.
The Bounty launch was typical of boats issued to Royal Navy
ships of the period. She was a standard issue 23 footer built by
a contractor to the Navy, Mister John Burr. It has been calculated that when overloaded with 19 men, gear and provisions, she floated with a bare 6 inches of freeboard.
Thanks for update Nigel. I'm really looking forward to the Bounty scenery.
Let Being Helpful Be More Important Than Being Right.
The scenery and the plane both look really spectacular. I am amazed by the detail in all.
Cheers,
Hi Nigel.
Any chance of a progress report on the three items the harbour, the aircraft and the launch?
Cheers Chris
Yes please!!
Well explained Sir. I had wanted to put the 23' launch aboard the Bounty along with the 20' Cutter but, alas, was against technical boundaries.
So much so, that I had to gut all of the "Hold" deck and much of the lower deck furnishings of the Bounty.
Nigel's scenery is unique is so many ways but this period scene is one to be relished and I am with all of you, awaiting his time to revisit and dazzle us in historic flavor.

Okay Gentlemen, with fingers straying in horrifying close proximity to teh panic-button, I have attempted to illustrate the Progress on all fronts, on a NEW thread.
However, I have promised the Bounty Launch to myself as a most welcome personal RR escape in the coming weeks. :-)

Any news about the Bounty scenery ?...
I'm having a very good time sailing with her - installed Canaria isls photoreal just for this... -
and this scenery will add a lot to immersion with sailing adventures.
Just for warming a bit things up, a small photo sequence video :
I wonder if the people behind FSX envisioned 17th century naval battles as the future use of FSX when it was developed
Well, I don't know, but P3D people "invest" in the "vehicles" logic (land, sea, air). Especially
with the avatar function in P3D v3, that you can actually change vehicles and explore the
world (scenery) on foot or with vehicles, potential increases dramatically...
At the same time, FSX/P3D mission system, offers the interactive adventure structure for
making flying adventures/stories - and Bounty is an "aircraft"...
xpelekis,
Great series of shots and video. I am happy that someone is getting pleasure from the Bounty project.
That was certainly my most challenging effort with regard to special xml programming of animations.
Thanks to a great team, we were able to create a rather immersive experience.
Nigel is away from his communications capabilities for a few days but should be back Sunday or Monday.
Bounty is really a very good simulation... Only some crew figures are missing.
With her and cannons added is my first ever naval sim on my pc.
Currently I'm exploring-testing various possibilities - in mission system - to
"squiz" out of it the most features needed for the closest experience to
a 17th century naval sim.
BTW : Is there somewhere the paint kit of the boat ?... I'd like to change flag
for having more variations and of course a pirate ship...
Thank's. Got it ! Greek & Hydra island flags (1821) have been risen !Its simply a bmp in the folder - unionjack512-256.
Time for sailing the Greek islands...
BTW : Apart of the Bounty project scenery, is that small drivable dingy boat going to be released also ?...
It could be very handy...
Currently I'm customizing cannonball inflicted damage & relative effects
on Sea & Land (almost happy), so that I can actually start making a
sailing adventure after that :
