    Hi,
    I've just noticed the Pub has, amongst other goodies, tarts and I wondered what they were like?

    Gentlemen, I just talked with Nigel yesterday and all is well on the home front after a well deserved break and diversion. He intends to complete these these projects, and more. Hopefully he will have a chance to pop in before long. Don't know about you but I miss me fishin' buddy.

    Glad to hear he's doing okay. I was starting to wonder what happened to him.

    That is an absolutely beautiful plane you've got there. What model is it?

    About the transparency issues - perhaps modifying one of the building textures to take reflection rather than transparency would solve the issue. I've noticed that throughout all versions of FS so far, if there are two textures with transparency that are behind one another as you view them, the combination is displayed as fully transparent. This might be solved by making sure one of the textures (as in the building behind your props, perhaps) is not set up for transparency.

    Hi Nigel,

    Good to hear you're back in business ....

    That engine looks to have a lot of moving parts... I would expect nothing less than to hear each one clicking and clattering... as well as the ruckus combustion from each one of those cylinders. You ARE the master, Nigel... The cockpit as well as the visual model are literal eye candy, OUTSTANDING WORK!!

    Thank you, Sir; the model is the Avro 621 Tutor.
    you probably didn't recognise her in the uncowled version.

    The cowled model is probably more familiar. There ya go;

    Re your suggestions on transparencies - always willing to take a shot at anything. We'll get there :-)

    Nigel, the wee bird is such a gem! Can't believe how meticulously detailed the Tutor is in both guises, with and without cowling! :-O . Amazing is just an understatement!

    er, more correctly the cowling on Nigel's Tutor is a Townend Ring : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Townend_ring

    Either way, its looking fabulous Nigel.

    The final version sans Townend will also have the modified nose area - that's also the one I'll be fitting out with a pair of floats.

    I'm seriously considering the Polish licence built, modified design variant; PWS-18.
    This aircraft sported the slightly more powerful Avia Wright Whirlwind 9-cylinder radial (240 hp?)

    I think I'd better set up a separate thread specifically for the Avro project, as hopefully, we should be seeing some developments on the scenery here.
