Farewell to AVSIM's Tom Allensworth - Requiescat in Pace

Tom Allensworth departed on his angel flight at 0530 this morning.

This was not totally unexpected, although much sooner than anyone had suspected. I know that Tom was by no means "universally loved," nonetheless his impact on the flight sim community over the past decades has been monumental.
