    FTX Central Not Working......

    Hello,

I recently purchased P3D and not liking it, have reverted back to my FSX where everything works well and is set up perfectly for the local area in which I live and fly in. Having tried the PNW Demo with P3D, I thought I would go and 'fly' the Orbx scenery in FSX and when I load FTX Central, I get the following screenshot (ignore my wallpaper!)........

Does anyone know how I can point the software towards the right destination?

    Best wishes,

    Martin

Edit: It seems that Central is looking for P3D (even though that has its own FTX Central) and not at FSX........

Is there some reason why you don't visit the product support forum?
The question you ask has been answered many many times and the
solution is to be found in the FAQ section.

I did look there, but can't seem to locate the FAQ. Find it all a little confusing. Thought would ask here as this is where I normally come first to ask my odd query or two.

    Cheers,

Did you reinstall the demo into FsX and have you uninstalled it from P3d?

Just use Flight1's FSX/FS9 Registry Repair Tool. That should solve the problem

I'll echo Tim's advice. I once encountered the same issue with FTX Central due to multiple installs of FS on the same computer. The registry repair tool fixed the problem.

Downloaded this and tried it, pointing it towards my FSX.exe file. Seem to have the same results. Have a lot of Orbx payware in FSX, PNW, New Zealand etc. Deleted the demo from P3D, but still no good news. Still have my Horizon VFR scenery so not all is lost. If this ever failed to work, would pack up simming for good. Keeps me going, just flying around my local area.

Thanks to everyone who replied. Much appreciated.

I seem to remember having a problem like this. The Flight1 registry repair tool didn't solve it but the TweakFS registry utility did. You could try that, available from http://www.tweakfs.com/store/free_tools.php
