And I forgot to mention all the sail ships included already... Gorch Fock, Eagle, Mircea, Aphrodite, Marta, ...

Thanks for the offer, Henrik. I'm going to do my best to be patient and wait like the rest of the fellas. I have popped over to the Quebec website and downloaded the Tadoussac and the Empress of Ireland. Beautiful ships!

You can insert your own routes using the AIBTC freeware program plus Google Earth - but the packages do come complete with routes for most of the important shipping lanes in the world, so it is only if you have a specific local area that you want to cover that you need to add something.

    Incredible work Kl791

As a curiosity...Are the nuclear icebreakers included in this project?

I would most prefer to specifically place a ship at will, that's why I was wondering. Do you have any idea if it's possible? I should be able to figure out my own answer, but it's been a long time since I had done it last.

No, Jean-Pierre Fillion did one icebreaker though it is not nuclear, it could most likely be used in the next update or you can find it directly at Jean-Pierre's website http://www.jpfil.com/quebecfsx/index.php - and you can also find and Argentinian icebreaker here: http://www.flightsimulatorarg.com.ar...peciales_X.htm

Then I think you should use AICarriers - though I am not a specialist on that one you can certainly use it with the ships from the package. Or you can transform the ships into a static objects with librarymaker programs.

With a big help from Wallydog a patch for P3Dv2.5 is on its way. I hope to release it tomorrow or monday. The patch corrects the display of the wakes.

    That is very good news!

I have immensely enjoyed your package in P3D. Working in the shipping industry for 18 years and and loving/flying aeroplanes at the same time I may say that your models are incredibly accurate and lifelike and have livened up the sim's oceans.

Thanks a lot for the comment - comments like this are of course part of the fuel on the project

Cheers Dave, and here is a small preview of one of the upcoming ships - the Danish Thetis class arctic patrol frigate. Together with the Knud Rasmussen class above this is the backbone in the Danish naval presence in the North Atlantic. Almost ready in the virtual yard.

Speaking of helo ops, I've seen you marked some bulker hatch covers with the H mark. Are these actually hardened to land on?

Yes, all the ships with an H marked on decks or platforms have hard surfaces for helicopters or ultralights.

After a bit of testing with help from Wallydog and fellow simmers around the world I have today posted a fix correcting the display of wakes for some of my AI ships in P3Dv2.5 on simviation, avsim, and flightsim. You can find the fix here: http://simviation.com/1/download-fil...p&fileId=48377
It resolves the issue of vertical wakes on some of my ships in P3Dv2.5. It is not needed for earlier versions of P3D than version 2.5.

After a long silence here on SOH it is time to a small update. Beta test is ongoing the new shipping package - if no major problems are found release of the new package will happen next week including a full update of the previous routes for the US and Canada and including this time also the Great Lakes.
