    AS A-6E FDE Update

    Here are updated flight dynamic files for the aging, but still fun-to-fly AS A-6E Intruder (both packs 1&2). As usual back up your original files and replace them with the new ones.

    I recommend turning realism slider to full as thats the way I re-worked the flight dynamics. Let me know how they work for you all.

    Thanks for doing this....

    Really, sincerely appreciate anybody in flight sim keeping the memory of the A-6 Intruder alive!

    Duckie has three nice A-6E repaints listed under "FS 2004 Military skins - Cold War". They just need converting to DDS, adding a cfg file, sorting what is common and what is not into folders (a couple common bits are improved over the default). After that they work great in FSX. They are all the earlier hi-vis gray on white base scheme. I flew them all the time while helping test this update for mal998.

    Thank you for the update...

    Wing vapour effect is black...

    I fixed it once years ago and lost the repair data when my HD crashed

    any fix ideas or directions to point me in???

    make sure you have this fx file in your effects folder:

    fx_ALPHA_A6_vapour1

    What is the solution?
    The effect folder contains the fx_ALPHA_A6_vapour1

    Are you seeing any other aircraft with black vapor trails or contrails?

    Now what you do is take another white effects texture file and rename it so that they have the exact same names of the missing files.

    Or maybe some good soul here can send provide them. I don't have them.
