However, if we don't, we will not be able to get the best resolution/quality that we're used to getting on our products.

    Thank you.

It could use a new kit, regardless. Go with the redux on the UV.

Also, I don't know what the possibilities are, but the FDE needs to be maintained, or at least based, much more on that of Mr. Copley, and not whatever that was that we found on the MilViz RedBull version.

The flooding issues that are very apparent on the previous release, must also be corrected. It's an outstanding model, with excellent possibilities. Please, PLEASE give us these benefits, and the longevity will excel the previous release, which I found lacking significantly in those areas. ( I reverted back to flying the FSD version )

Agreed. One thing to note about the RB version, it lacks the turbos.

Now that it works in P3Dv2.4, I really enjoy the FSD P38 again. What a great 3d model!

Roger-Wilco, what scenery is that? It looks terrific! A perfect setting for that P-38.

I'm a little confused I have both the FSD and Milviz P38s (and yes the Milviz version gives me serious performance issues).

We're not all 'in the loop' so to speak. Who is 'Kat'? And so thus which developer is doing this new one?

"Kat" is the representative/spokesperson for Milviz. The new version of "period" P-38L is being developed by Milviz.

Having had the privilege to be involved in testing the "modern" version, and having thoroughly enjoyed the process, I must say I am impatiently looking forward to this one.

    Thanks for clarifying;-)
I absolutely LOVE the Milviz one I have. So much so, it sort of stops me flying the FSD version. I just wish it was easier on my system. I hope the new one will be;-)

I bought the Milviz P-38 Restored on sale at 13$ as that was a great price for such an aircraft!
However for the first time since I bought my new pc, I have ORBX ground textures going blurry and not close to the ground, but at 20000'!
Lovely aircraft but something in it's construction is a frame eater.

    Hi,

Part of the reason that the new P-38 is slow on certain systems is the usage of the default GPS. If you use the RXP gauges, you should not have this issue.

That said, we are, in time, going to remake all of our products such that they allow for RXP, F1 and Mindstar avionics. All dependent upon whether (or which) the product in question allows for it. I.e. the King Air will not be using RXP, F1 or Mindstar but the P-38 might well do so.

The P-38L has no glass and is therefore not going to cause any FPS.

    Thank you.

    Kat

    Any news

    Hey Kat,
Just wondered if you could give us any information on the new release?
