Black Taxi ways from a distance

Hi Everyone,

I have installed the latest version of Steves DX10 Fixer, I now seem to have very black taxi ways form a few miles out but as I get closer to the runway / airport they return to the normal colour.
I did not see this effect with the last version of the DX10 fixer.
I am seeing this with UK2000 airfields and horizon photo scenery. Any help to fix this would be very welcome.

I seem to have developed a few of these myself - usually at airports where there are photoreal tiles underlying runways/taxiways - as opposed to the more common default textures.

I think it may be to do with "Z-fighting" : http://stevesfsxanalysis.wordpress.c...ashing-part-2/

... though I've no idea what we can do about it (if anything). It might be down to the scenery designer(s).

It's weird how I didn't notice this before with the last version of DX10 fixer, I guess I will have to live with it for now.

I get it mainly at NZQN - with FTX NZSI and the NZQH add-on. You won't see it unless you have the add-on(s)
