How does this compare to the virtavia F-111?

Got it ! Thanks for the notification.
I know it's not as nice as the GKS on the graphical point of view, but I sure hope it has less bugs as well :')
    Anyways, I have both now.

Thanks for the notification. Have the Virtavia and wanted to get the JustFlight based on the demo, just didn't fly it enough to justify the full price.

Got it for less than $5 with my points. Now I can afford to let it sit for a bit.

Limited on the models included but sometimes that can be a good thing. From watching the video it does have wing views with ordnance showing.
And it has a configuration manager rather than hard coded external loads. There's a manual in German at JustFlight that does show the systems.
For the price and if you're an F-111 fan, probably not a bad deal.

Here's a review at Flightsim.com and an honest assessment here at SOH.

I bought it some time ago and think it is a great model. The only thing I really take issue with is the external textures seem low/medium res and the cockpit pressurization light comes on mid flight and I can get it to extinguish. I did do some flight dynamics tuning & changed out the afterburners to suit my own taste.

    Thanks Andy,

It says for P3Dv1, have you tried it in V2 yet? Any issues, I fancy this for that price.

    Cheers,

I haven't got around to flying it yet (later today, hopefully), but I was willing to take a gamble on v2 compatibility for that price (!), especially with the upcoming ACG RAF Upper Heyford scenery. As soon as I try it I'll post here.

Is this an update of the AlphaSim F-111 for FS9?

OK, just flew it in P3P2, so I'll post about it over on the appropriate forum here...

More like the real deal for FSX built on the Alpha F-111 for FS9.

Exactly. Steve has been at this for many years.

Yes, the freeware F-111 ex-Alphasim has some really interesting features.
Unfortunately, it cannot be used on P3D, so I had to go for the FSX native models instead.

I've only got the demo, but is there an easy way to differentiate the FDEs of the the two variants?
