You may be interested in this project: http://forum.avsim.net/forum/719-mario-noriega-designs/ ; Mario Noriega who has give us those lovely Piaggios has turned his hand to developing a new vector scenery for FS2004 based on the newest OSM data. This has rapidly turned into a community project and with the volunteers already lining up this may eventually grow into global coverage! So FS2004 is very much alive and kicking

Wow, this is amazing, few weird things around coast of northern France, which is probably caused by chaos of various sceneries and landclasses i have there, but this is really top quality, just as Mr. Noriegas planes!
