    Looking good G!

I'm searching for someone to do a paintjob for the Fokker D.XXXVI. It will be scenery and probably AI. Can I tempt you to take on this job?

Zipper010, the shot clearly states TP integration, or Tac Pack by VRS simulations!

    Its TackPack.....

  15. #240
TacPack indeed! Major integration is done, with only a few things remaining:

    - Not yet accurately calibrated guns (focus point, won't be a problem though)
    - Default in-built TacPack guns (Vickers-MG instead of the FN Brownings that were used on the Dutch D.21s)
    - No effects on the plane. I'm not sure whether I'd implement this or not, since the Dutch didn't use tracers.

I can only release the update when the dev build of TP (with which I'm working ATM) is made public.

I think it can be taken in good spirits... Also, I got problems with my email right now...
Here is the texture pretty much finished... A propos... there is no under wing texture...???

At any rate, maybe you can start another thread Cees to communicate fast.. and graphically...

    Carlos,

The underwing texture is in this version a duplicate of the upperwing texture. But you can rearrange the structure of basistexture I sent you as you like. If you want a right and a left side of the engine nacelles, it's fine by me. There is still plenty of room in the lay-out of the texture to do so.
    Looking great! A few points:

1.The right side of the plane had no doors, only windows.

2.The tail had a Fokker signature on its sides.

3.The name of the plane was on the nose: Arend.

    4. Part of the fuselage was KLM-blue, in a sort of wave.

    5. Just tested it in the sim: the contrast between the surfaces and the rivets and lines could be much intenser, and I think the windows should have a different color.

But I don't know what you had in mind, and how much this still is a W.I.P. Maybe all these thing are allready planned by you?

    Great work!

The texture with the plane had a duplicate of the left side... (mirrored) so I didn't know what was what...
at any rate... I'll try to duplicate the writings... are they in the photos you sent?
I can fix the contrast of the rivets, etc. Let me know what color the windows should be... I thought that they should show something like light... and shadows... as far as the engine nacelles.. probably it would be good idea.. because the exhaust are probably only on one side...

Any and all suggestions.. up to you...
    Carlos

Soo nice to see another Fokker! I've a note on the texures of the F.36: I think the wing was made of wood, and glued. So I wonder if there were any rivets... But I don't have photographic proof

    Cees, I sent you pm

You're probably right. Fokker built according a long proven recipe, which cost him the race with others builders.

Carlos, here's another drawing I scanned. You can see the signature and part of the text on the fuselage.
