    Sneak pic of Project X!

Ah, nice, will be a D.21 base

Well, everybody, few weeks ago I announced Project X. There's still a list of things to do before I can really make it to the public, but my part of the project has started.

    There it is:

    Any ideas?? :P

    Only a beta verion.....

Tested on standard FSX accelleration. Cars are not mine. Gunboat is, I only have to texture it again. Textures were lost in my comp crash. Fisherboat must go, is too modern.

    Icon26 nice!

    Cees,

    I like the airfield.
Is the level difference between runway/platform and the remainder of the field (3ft) only on my system?
Unfortunately the field doesn't work in nl2000. (photoscenery is a bit shifted in repect to the default scenery) But that is what I did expect to happen.

    Regards,

    Jan

That difference between apron and field is not on my system Jan! Let's see what problems other people encounter. How easy is it to switch NL2000 of temporarily?

    Cees,

To disable nl2000 is quite easy: just disable the ehkd and noord-holland photoscenery, wait for the recalculation of the scenery indexes and your scenery has changed.

I double checked with a "virgin"copy of fsx-accelleration. With the same results.
To besure I don't take any history in that installation I deleted the directories (after making a backup) where the scenery and cfg files are written. (fsx will generate new one's on start-up)

    Jan,

I checked the scenery again. On my sytem I have no differences in height between the apron and the field. I also checked the file in ADE. Everything is set at sea-level, 0,0 feet, all polys etcetera.

I wish I could help, but I'm at a loss for ideas.

Nice to see everything going on! I'm a little restricted in time for the moment, but I'll try to test things as soon as possible. In some weeks, first flight of the T.5 from Bergen, or so

Edit: Cees, if you need a D.21 static, let me know! Could combine the traffic D.21 with that, but I need to start with it still.

    Jan,

Thanks for the testing and your solution. This one is the one you mentioned. Put it in scenery/world /scenery. Hope it helps!

Dan, will the D.XXI be TacPac-enabled, so that we can use the machine guns on, for example, Ju-52 transport planes (overtaking a 109 will be hard)?<o></o>

I don't think so, since I don't have TacPack and becaus I can't keep promising things. But to be honest, I've been thinking of that before

Save the TacPac version for the 5th update . By that time we might have a nice FSX native Junkers Ju52 armed version.

The Ford TraDo looks promising Cees!

    Cheers,
    Huub

Nice work Cees, glad you're picking up and get rolling the scenery development

Announcement: I'm planning to make the D.21 TacPack compatible. It will be freeware anyhow.
