    An offer i cannot refuse - manfred's c-47 for fs2004

Thanks for your offer Matt. If there is one bird I would really like a face lift on it would be Manfred's C-47 for FS2004. The metallic textures for some of the re-paints I have seen of this a/c make the model look as if it was made out of cardboard.

There are lots of skins of this bird out there and almost all of them would benefit from a touch of your magic wand.

Hope this request gets into the queue.

    Good to see you back.

    Mal

Nice to have you back, Matt... that's the important thing!

I dunno... Manfred's Three is a nice start; personally, I'd like to see a continuation of your work with Kirk's Viper. Specifically, I'd like to see some US ANG units represented, like the 120th FS, 140th TFW from Buckley AFB!

Of course, your TDS 787 Military paint would be nice, too... LOL!

    Cheers!

Hi Matt, welcome back! A few years ago you were working on some all metal liveries for Kaz Ito's Fokker D-XXIII. Any chance you still have those laying around anywhere?

i'm almost certain i have the PSD's i created lying around somewhere.... got the computer on a search for all files ending with the .psd suffix, ironic thing is i can remember what the maps looked like in my minds eye....

well.... you'll never guess what i found!

.... if i recall the model wouldn't accept Alpha Channels so i had to 'paint' on a metal effect with Horizon... or that's how my mind remembers it being....

What ever happened to your Iris F-15 family re-skin project? That one had my attention.

well... I did finish the F-15E paintkit and released 1 scheme using it, a TMOTA (Tiger Meet Of The Americas) scheme. have since adapted the scheme and it now works on the C variants also... as seen here on a 'C' variant...

    Hi Matt, Welcome back.

Are the F-15 repaints available anywhere? I remember looking forward to them when you first mentioned you were working on it, but never heard if anything was released. Where do you usually upload your work?

  14. #14
not as of yet... never got round to getting schemes onto the Girl... whoops! but the F-15E kit and F-15C kit are both done (ok they're messy looking inside the PSD layers) so at the weekend when i have some extra extra time free i'll see about getting a few done....
