Take a look at the texture for the glass in DXTbmp, probably needs to be darkened.

Here are the two "fixed" textures. Drop these in any of your texture folders for the liveries you have and overwrite what's in there.

Very impressed by the new FS9 SCS Tu-134-A with VC. Works in FSX fine, no tweaking necessary except glass fix. I didn't try to load all the gauges, I kept only SCS_TU134.CAB and SCS_TU134_VC.CAB in the panel since I'm too lazy to learn the start-up procedure (will wait for Sean tutorial!).

Seems to me there is a lot of clickable switch everywhere, even in the navigator position. Cabin is included. This is payware quality! The usual 2D panels "à la russe" are all there too. Tons of repaints at avsimrus.

All these repaints from avsimrus: Air Koryo (Heiko Flцther), Malev (Pallmall), UTair (Дмитрий Числов), Ukraine Air Force (Андрей Мамаев), RusJet (Влад Русаков) and many more...

What a great model. Thanks for the link. Great sound set. The rudder goes fixed after TO. Is there a switch to change that?

There is a few english tootips (like fuel and battery) in some 2D panel : Shift 5 & Shift 8...

Flip all the switches you can find, then Ctrl E, off you go... It works!

But proper tutorial must exists somewhere... Sean, help!

Can you post a copy of your modified panel config?

I downloaded v.1.2 and it contained an English version manual for the panels. Looking through it now.

Didn't touch the panel.cfg. Works fine out of the box. Here's a video tutorial (there's many like this around, not sure if this one is ok, at least it's in english):

I hope, like with the PT Tu-154B-2, you can use only the VC, since most switches seems to work in the VC too.

    Help

Can someone please tell me how to install this in FSX? I tried bu failed...it wont show up in the menu...Help would be very appreciated!

I'll investigate this addon further in the coming days. It initially kept crashing FSX for me, (and/or loading extremely slowly) but I'll take another look soon.
In the meantime, you may want to browse through PT's Tu-134 support forum. It's not their addon, but they seem to know their way around it. Please note that most documentation posted is for the older versions, but some useful documents may still be there:

If installing in FSX, have the autoinstaller extract to a temporary folder first, then install manually, as the installer is crafted to autoinstall into an FS2004 file structure, which differs from FSX.

I did see something in passing about SCS working on the electrical system due to electrical load/short issues. Apparently you can overload the system a bit too easily right now, but it allegedly works fine as long as you wait to flip on avionics and unnecessary systems until you have the engines started and generators online. In short, activate the bare minimum of systems while just on the APU until you have the engines started, and that may prevent some electrical issues.

I can get it started and fly it around by hand without issue and it hand flies beautifully. But, the Autopilot seems totally non-functional in FSX. I tried switching out one of the 2-D pop-up panels for a basic autopilot and GPS but since all the 2-D panels seem tied into vital systems programming, there's a negative effect that causes some systems to not function correctly and all of the available 2-D panel slots are full with the systems. I'm going to continue working on it to see if I can find a workaround so simple operation of the model can be utilized.

Extract the installer to your desktop, then use the installer to direct files to a New Folder - named anything you want. From the new folder, move those files manually their respective folders in the FSX directory. Effects to the Effects folder, SCS Tu-134A to: FSX/Simobjects/Airplanes

You'll have to create your own thumbnails for each texture.

    Thank you

Thank you all for help! managed to install it in FSX beautiful model in my opinion, only issues I am having is when I try switching trough internal views FSX stops working and some switches I click seem to increase throttle in the left engine...but I only had time to do a quick start with mybe a half or so systems working...
