    RTWR 2014 Practice #6 "Ivan's Tractor Parts"

    Ivan Sells Tractor Parts

Ivan needs to establish contacts for his tractor-parts business, therefore he needs to fly to various locations to a) make deals; and b) arrange customs clearance for his shipments.

Depart Orenberg East (UWOO) and fly to Ibiza, Spain (LEIB) with at least one stop in each of Russia, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, The Netherlands, England, France, Portugal and mainland Spain before reaching his villa in Ibiza.

Standard RTWR rules apply. More info here: http://www.fsrtwrace.com/about.php

FS Host Server Port 23456: http://www.sim-outhouse.net/forum/showthread.php?t=8

Maximum length of any leg is 250nm.

    Minimum leg length is >50nm

International flights must be via commercial carrier in a twin-, tri, or four-engine jet or piston transport with a MTOW > 50,000lbs. Minimum distance for these legs is 100nm.

All other flights may be in a "Normal Race Aircraft" as described in the RTWR Rules.

Ivan does not like helicopters and will not use them.

Maximum Leg time - 1.0 hrs drop dead, exceeding 1.0 hrs invalidates leg.

Make sure you are flying in 'real time' and 'real weather'.

Pilots may fly consecutive legs if the baton has been idle for at least 30 minutes (based on post time).

NOTE: Pay special attention to your routing in order to comply with the practice requirements! Posting of suggested routes is not allowed, this is a test of individual pilot planning with regard to legs and the problems of routing.

Correct, 'international' refers to flights that cross international borders rather than 'in country' flights, i.e. Ivan can hire a plane to fly within a country but he must use a commercial carrier to cross any borders.

100 NM, 15 min (more or less). Didn't need the drop tanks for this flight I packed 'em full of Zil spark plugs, a couple of batteries, some door handles, and a rear view mirror.

Are those replacements for parts that fell off previously sold tractors?

    Baton free at UWWW.

The people I acquired the parts from assured me they were in pristine condition. Well, I overheard that part actually, before I acquired the parts...

The pics have been altered by Photoshop. In reality it was as dark as the bottom of a Russian diamond mine out there.

weeee ! Well done! I was gonna "say" while *rubbing beard* ... <<What now, I need a commercial carrier ... heck >> and Willy would perhaps say ... <<if everything else fails, ask Merc Air !>> and look what I found 'hidden' in a 'bit hangar' somewhere close by ... *points to attached pictures* ... guess I'd done this back in 2007/2008 during one of many practice sessions ... I even found a published file still available on flightsim.com, that might contain the FDE for this beauty ... if somebody could verify this, I would be grateful ... filename on flightsim.com is 'gy_fdes.zip' from 'Tom Kohler', published 01-24-2008 ... unfortunately, my own flightsim account locks up as I cannot remember the password for it. This FDE might even qualify to be 'race eligible' ?!

it should also contain an air file for the B-707-320C - perhaps a file with the name 'B707-320C.air' - dated around 03/24/2007 ?! And thank you again!
