    Does anyone collect swords?

I'm thinking I might want one - a legit one, one that would serve me well on the battlefields of the Middle Ages.

Do you know of any other makers than Angel Sword, Dark-Sword and Albion that you'd suggest?

Thanks for the site! I've seen a lot of sword reviews on there - some good reading.

Funny you mention swords actually - I suppose the link to aircraft must be interest in militaria?

I'm not a sword collector in the slightest, but I learnt a fair bit about them indirectly while studying military history.

If you're interested, I recommend reading Ewart Oakeshott's classic Sword in the Age of Chivalry.
It's a good read, and will help you distinguish more serious modern replicas from all those that are poorly researched.
