Have the baton from PACY to PAYA in the Virtavia Martin Mars.

Lumbered up to CA. ETE :15+

Hit a whale as I was slowing down. Baton is back at PACY.

Seriously, just as I was slowing on the water it started bouncing up and down like I was on a hard surface and registered a crash.

How close to shore? Maybe it thinks shallow water?

Just offshore. Was curious to see if the duenna would show the start and end airports correctly in the graphic.

We did this in some earlier races, I think the airport sensing is a circle around the airport location point, at least taking in the longest runways. I might take the chopper and do some research on that.

Sometimes close to shore the mesh extends out into the water. Its still water but has the rolls of the terrain. It will cause bouncing and eventually a crash. Happened to me the other day in FS9 in the pacific. I hit a spot that had a ridge bounced up and crash-ola.
