    Sexy it is!

original 3-panel windscreen, attractive scheme, nose art!, beautiful polish and very rare with the tip-tank kit...

and most of all, it's a Twin Bonanza!!!!!

    I want one

That's also how die-hard airport kids get rides in neat airplanes. "Here, kid; this stuff's called 'Rolite'..."

I suspect most folks cannot even imagine how much polish buffing that represented, and represents all the time to maintain!

I am getting retina damage from just looking at the picture. On a bright sunny day I imagine you could see it from Mars.

So, there isnt one of these things made for flight sim yet.. I kinda see it as a classic on the scale of the Beech staggerwing, and think it would have a very welcome and well loved place in the flight Sim community. Any volunteers??

There was a beautiful Twin Bonanza made for the pre-FSX era.

    Added:
Still in the library over at flightsim.

That one never left my installation hanger from the day it showed in the library up until FSX came along.

jojo is also good looking but its the wrong aircraft. Jojo was a Beech D50-c. Outside of the engines and a fuselage redesign i'm not certain what the differences are.. I even traced down the military version of the B-50 Seminole, but it was a B-58 and not a B-50 at all

Yes but JOJO and the Twin Bonanza is clostest you will get in FSX (as you need an oFF FS9 plane ) and the existing Seminole's differ more(Rudde is T-->UP) and are of lower quality

Shame about the Dantes model not working in FSX - prop disks need a model mod and show solid. Otherwise a nifty model. Maybe someone could contact Eric D to see if it could be fixed?

Striker, listen, and you listen close: flying a plane is no different than riding a bicycle, just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes.

The Twin Bonanza is high on my list of desirable aircraft - in R/L and FS - and one reason I keep a working copy of FS9.

Sadly the definitive TwinBonanza (.com) website is no more - only redirecting to the limited info at the Beechcraft Museum:
    http://www.beechcraftheritagemuseum....ion/N14VU.html

Here are a few links to other sites:
AOPA's news article with a bit of interesting history and flying observations: http://www.aopa.org/News-and-Video/A...n-Bonanza.aspx

    Model variants: http://www.airports-worldwide.com/ar...rticle1075.php
    http://www.skytamer.com/Beechcraft_50DA.html
and the wiki about the Seminole: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/L-23_Seminole

and a random pile of photos from around the web:
The original 'announcement' ad for the Model 50 (scroll down) http://www.vintageadbrowser.com/airl...-ads-1950s/100

    really random sites:

    "for sale":

    http://www.globalplanesearch.com/bee...bonanza_50.htm
    http://www.aerotrader.com/listing/19...ANZA-103978286

and the story of Jacques Brel and JoJo (read the whole page to see and sort the inconsistencies)
    http://brel.pfiquet.be/jojoparen.htm

One should note that many early T-Bones were later modified with airstairs, new windshields, engines, etc. so it's hard to determine the model just from one snapshot of unknown date.
BTW, the Twin was popular with oil companies in North America ( and occasionally N. Africa) because it had a decent level of exec. comfort and the strength and performance to operate in/out of unimproved oil-lease strips. It was a BIG plane which is difficult to discern in a solo pic but think Queen/KingAir C-90 and you get a perception.

OH, in 50 years of watching Beech Model 50s, I have only seen two that were modified with tiptanks. Here's another picture of N3670B:
