Nice shot, Dave! Is that Gus Robatto's paint on the Alphasim 'Rhino'? If so, where can I find it?

    Right on both counts.
The paint is (just checked) available at AVSIM - named "gr_af4_vf31_32bit_v1.zip".

Please note these are 32-bit textures, and won't suit everybody. The same aircraft is available with DXT3 textures, namely "gr_af4_vf31_dxt3_v1.zip".

    Hi Bernhard,

    32TFS "The Queen's finest

32TFS (USAFE) operated from Soesterberg AB from 1954 until 1994. During the period 1969-1978 they used the F4-E. This particular aircraft was flown by Maj. Boswell, with Maj. Luxich in the back. It was maintained by SSgt Ludwig. (model: Alphasim/Virtavia, repaint: me, based on layered files by Duckie)

Thanks Duckie for allowing me to use your layered files!

Thanks for the nice words Ian. Originally I was not planning to release it as it is already an older model and I more or less did the repaint for myself. But strange enough you're not the first one who has asked me to upload it. So I'm now considering to do it.

As have still have some nasty problems to solve, as some panel lines and rivets seem to be shifted, it might take some time to finish it.

And when I don't upload it, I will send you a private copy *wink*

    Cheers,
    Huub

BTW Nice repaint Berhard! (as always *wink*)

Thanks Huub, i made up my own Soesterberg scenery a few years back and that would look great in the patten
Hopefully, next year, when the new Dutch airforce museum complex is finish'd, i'll take a trip over and visit the place for real

    cheers ian
