Although its definitely a nice idea, I'm still too busy with painting liveries from aircraft still in use by their original users. And to be honest I am pretty sure I will not be able to finish my "to-do" list in this life.
But just like Steve I did some "new management" liveries in the past.

    Cheers,
    Huub

    And from another era.....

A captured Pfalz D.III in colours of the RFC

ANother Pfalz D.III this time in Dutch service after the pilot got lost and landed in neutral Netherlands...

And perhaps you can call this new management as well....

An AVIA S.199 (Messerschmitt BF109 with Jumo engine) in the colours of the Israelian Air Force.

    Cheers,

    Hi Papi,

Both the Fw 190 and the He51 are FSX model. The first one is payware by Classics Hangar and the second one is freeware by Craig Richardson.

The Pfalz D.III is the freeware model by Stuart Green and the Avia S.199 is payware by Flight Replica's.

Another one which went "under new management is the Dutch Fokker G-1 below (freeware). Captured by the Germans in May 1940 and used as advanced trainer. Here shown in 1941 Luftwaffe markings.

    Cheers,
    Huub

My latest TWA constellation, an L-749 named Star of Portugal, resplendent in her overall aluminuim finish.

So far, I've managed to cover ALL the various paint schemes worn by TWA 'short fuselage' (as in NON super G) in one for m or another.. As for variations in cabin windows.. well.. there are STILL a couple I haven't tackled yet, and these were modifications made to existing airframes I believe.

But I'm VERY happy with this one.

Very nice! Looks much like this one:
I was lucky enough to be there on that day, in the first row, to watch this beautiful machine take wing! ANd I would love to relive that moment in the sim. Any chance of adapting your paint to this one: https://www.flugmuseum-messerschmitt...262/index.html

I like that scheme Steve.... just needs a small antenna array mounted on the nose and a fictional squad marking.

Can't do anything about the radar but I have a fictional insignia for it.

That 262 could be a "de-commissioned" night fighter version, as the Luftwaffe removed the radar equipment... . Just a thought... I like the red squad marking. And a number in red, such as "Red 13". In the same layout as the Bf-109's or the Fw-190's of or about the same time period. Purely fictional of course, (e.g. the schemes you did a while back for Alphasim's classic MiG-25 Foxbat).

But also, historically correct paints are very important, especially on Russian and German WWII aircraft. JMO.

Today I have finished playing with the details, and rivets on my masters, to celebrate I started another cammo scheme.
I shall be completing some schemes and upload them after getting some sleep.

I woke up this morning feeling a bit heavy.
So I took up something with more than one seat for a change.

And that is a BIG Bird indeed. I fly the Russian "Mainstay" version of that plane and it's a handful. Once you get all the systems initiated, it flies pretty easy tho.

And the Me262 repaints... I had to build a separate hanger for all of those.... Superb work, Steve!
