Pete,
The DC2 is still for sale: http://home.hccnet.nl/r.cappers/dc2/ (via Flight1)
Its a great model and at least similar quality as the MAAM DC3. Like the MAAM DC3, this model is made by a non-profit team and all the money made by selling this model will go directly to the foundation which tries to keep the real DC2 flying.
Cheers,
Huub
something cool
An aircraft from Groupe de Chasse II/1 3me Escadrille France 1940.
Avaiable soon....

I love your two previous repaints of the Bloch, Huub!
That's really nice to hear Sascha. But personally I like this one best. However I guess it is normal to like the last one best . I found some (minor) errors in this repaint, which still need to be corrected. After this one I'm considering to do one repaint in Vichy colours.
Cheers,
Huub
Here is one inspired from a picture that showed up in my Blackhawk crew chief Facebook group:

Nice shot, it looks like Bretagne is invading Normandie to take over control of the Mont Saint-Michel which is more or less excactly on the border between these regions. Now the river Couesnon (the natural border) has been canalised, the Mont will most probably remain in Normandie for ever.
(I really love that area!)
Cheers,
Huub
She's a beauty alright. Enjoying her in FS9 with a converted FSX texture that looks real nice...
The grass is always greener on the other side...
But, it's just as hard to mow!
Looks great! The Marauder is an absolute "still must install"
Cheers,
Huub
It has been uploaded and is available in the library......

Enjoy,

PS When you look careful to the repaint, you can see it had already 3 "hits" before it was even uploaded.
Now I think I will take a break to do some serious flying in the AVRO Tutor......
The Marauder in these colours reminds me to my "Airfix" days

Some AH nostalgia in GW3.

(Test linking to an external source...) As said, remake of one of the most representative Martin B-26 Marauder pictures. Milton Shupe & Team B-26 Marauder for FS9, texture by jankees (for FSX), adapted for FS9 by me.
Huub, the first time I've seen this picture was the cover page of an Airfix magazine, long years ago...
Martin B-26 marauder Coral Princess. Textures by Duckie (FSX), adapted for FS9 by me.
I think it was the picture Airfix used for the introduction of the B-26 model. They had a picture of the real aircraft and of the model placed above each other at the same background. The repaint by JanKees looks more like the real thing than too glossy Airfix model did
Thanks for bringing back these memories,
Huub
I guess you mean this one?
The grass is always greener on the other side...

Yep that was the one...
I love flying the Raptor...
"Thats some of the best flying I have ever seen, upto the point that your dead, Never ever leave your wingman!"......Jester, Top Gun
After FS crash issues.. then dropbox problems.. and thanks to Nigel for kindly resending me the files... I have the beta Avros... FINALLY!!!
Loving this airplane.. and have been informed by the man himself today that if I like this.. well.. the finished product will please me... (I'm putting his words mildly... LOL)
HAD to play around with the textures... it's my 'thing'.... and what a joy to fly. Pulling on my "real world" biplane flying experience, flying this little beauty was no issue at all.. Handles as I expect she should.. and will embarrass you with some unwildly bounces if you don't get the touchdown just right... AS IT SHOULD as a trainer!!
So, here we are, high above the UK countryside, on a typical summer day.... REAL WORLD flying doesn't get any better than this!
cheers
Dave
