But made by the Bristol Aeroplane Company, Filton Gloucestershire UK.
In 1929 the US Navy purchased a Bristol Bulldog for evaluation. On October 25, 1929, the Bulldog II (c/n 7358, s/n A-8485) was tested by the US Navy at Anacostia, but during a dive-bombing run, an aileron failed causing the plane to crash and killing the pilot Lt. Cuddihy. After static tests at Filton, a modification was made to the wing and a replacement Bulldog (c/n 7398, s/n A-8607) was sent to the US Navy on February 24, 1930.

This repaint has been on the planning for a very long time. After I saw Pete's post I knew I had to start it!
My country is located between the UK and Germany and the Air War was fought in the skies above my country. Nachtjagdgeschwader 1 was stationed in the Netherlands and Wolfgang Falck "the father of the nightfighters" had his headquarter at Deelen, where I received my basic military training in 1977! The building in which I had my room was built by the Germans in 1942!
The model is the groundcrew Bf110-E unfinished beta.
Cheers,
Huub
