    Canadian F-111

Yes... purely fictitious, but it came closer to reality than you might think! The result of going through my 'hangar', seeing an oldie, and deciding to play around with the texture files, and do a few fun repaints.

No paintkit, just a full very intense rework using the texture set from the 6Sqn RAAF Aardvark. Did this one over five hours today. Now.. time for a brew!

Its the Wasserkuppe, from one of Aerosoft payware Germany packs. Got released as freeware for FSX if you're into X as well.

Well based on that screenshot, I went and bought Germany 1,2,4 and Bremen from Aerosoft. Im waiting to hear back on Germany 3 as it is not listed on their site. They should give you a cut of the sale!! Looking forward to exploring the area.

Nice shot of that XP-72 Superbolt, Steve. That airplane is a real hot rod and a kick to fly! Another stunning model from Milton Shupe and his talented team....

    What if...

NASA testbed; the large avionics bay is useful for quick interchanges of 'kit'; here being used as a test hack for the Orion re-useable space vehicle

RAF 617 Sqn, in time to become the last operational TSR2 squadron as metal fatigue problems ground the rest of the fleet,
here flying the Windermere loop low-level route

    RAF 58 Sqn, dedicated to NATO's northern flank, would disband after the fall of the Berlin wall @ 1992;
    shown here over Norway

    Alphasim and Pierre L'heureux repaints.

(prompted by a what if article here --> https://hushkit.net/2012/05/14/the-b...bing-the-myth/ Its' not real folks.)

    What if.... pt2

Disappointed with the attrition rate of the F-104 in service (it once being said if you wanted a Starfighter just buy a field in Germany, one would crash there sooner or later) they were quickly replaced in the low level strike role, here is German MarineFlieger

Representing the RAAF, peeved at the 10 year wait for F-111, chose TSR.2 ; only a handful remain in service having been extensively upgraded by Project Wombat, under the government of Sir Ramsay Street. Due to be replaced by Re-manufactured Rockwell B1(DU) aka Down-under variant.

and finally, Saudi Arabia stayed faithful to their contract with BAC and acquired TSR.2 as an add-on to the already profitable for BAC, Lightning fighter contract, under the Al-Khalid project BAC would continue to support the TSR.2 until retirement in 1991

    FS9 still looking good

Reacquainting myself with some of the many FS9 addons I have purchased over the years. This one is still looking good even after all of these years :-)

And, what's even better is that is that I've just discovered that all 3 packs (I had only purchased the US/RAAF one) are freely available via SIMMARKET - result :-)

I always wanted a VFA-125 T-Bird painted like that Hornet, as he got the colors and weathering spot on. I was assigned to VFA-125 and I got some time in B-models, in the long ago times.
